GORE-TEX®

3M reflection

In the dusk and the dark, 3M ScotchliteTM improves the visibility of the motor-driver. ScotchliteTM reflecting- material has an open structure with a unique reflecting qualities, thanks to katadoptrisch () crystals. Either, Scrotchlite reflects even with an indirect incidence. Other reflecting material need a direct light to reflect. Silver Scotchlite exceeds even the highest European requirements for stimulation in bad weather.

Teflon

GORE-TEX® XCR®

The global climate is changing, the temperatures are rising, we have more warm summers. But there’s nothing more unpredictable, like the weather. Motorcycle-drivers know what we’re talking about. Protected against all different temperatures and weatherconditions, proves to be an unsolved problem for the motorcycle-clothing business. But the product specialists of GORE solved it: The new GORE-TEX® XCR® guarantees motorcyclists more comfort during warm days and a better protection against the weather. The new membrane-technology from the wind-and waterproof GORE-TEX® XCR® has also a higher breath-capability. This fully, new designed, patterned 3 layer GORE-TEX® XCR® plywood, offers always the perfect temperature when it’s +10 ‘till +30° C an a long-lasting protection against any kind of weather-conditions. With this technology and the optimal material-mix, the breathing-capability has been increased for least 25%. Besides that, the drying-time is shorter, thanks to this new plywood. : this means that the body-fluency, gets transported outside, twice as fast as normal. This does not mean, the rider sweats less, but it will not bother him as much. You stay focused, that eventually raises the active safety. For a higher passive insurance, you got the robust, 3 layer construction Gore-Tex® XCR® with a high –qualified material like Codura, Keylar or leather as an outside-layer, that gives more wear-resistant. Besides that, the outside-material has been impregnate. This means the material doesn’t absorbers no fluid, so the clothes will not get heavy.

Thinsulate

For those who where almost froze there fingers off, who were jealous off those who had a nice, warm fur, there’s this: 3M has been designed with a look at nature. Thinsulate micro-fibber keeps you warm, all the time. Because of this extreme thin fibber, this fabric has a big surface as of volume, so it absorbs more isolating air. This means a good protection against the cold, with a thin-layer material.

	Thermolite
Thermolite gives the principal of “the thicker, the warmer’ a whole new meaning. This isolation-fibber, made of 80% recycled polyester, gives you despite it’s light weight a good isolation. Even when it’s moist and you wear it for a long time. Depending on the inflictions, you can also choose between the Thermolite Active or the Thermolite Plus.

This TFL COOL SYSTEM® is a permanent treatment for leather and based on practical physics. Dark colours absorb sun radiation and therefore heat up more strongly than light colours, which reflect up to 95% of the light energy and thus remain cooler. Materials with a TFL COOL SYSTEM® treatment reflect the sunlight in the same way as light coloured leathers. Motorcyclists are enthusiastic about COOL leather, employing the unique TFL COOL SYSTEM®. Result: the temperature of the leather surface stays up to 20° C lower. Even if you are standing in the blazing sun, inside your leather suit temperatures stay COOL.
