The X-1002 is the first X-lite model ready for the N-Com® X-Series communication system.  A full-face helmet with a flip-up chin guard fitted with a unique elliptical flip-up system which reduces the front section of the helmet to a minimum, even with the chin guard open, and prevents accidental closure. Wind tunnel tests on the X-1002, with the front section in both the open and closed position, show that the X-1002 has the best results compared to other helmets of the same category.  The chin guard opening system features a rotation mechanism with an elliptical movement which reduces the helmet front section and prevents accidental closure of the guard/visor when open.  The Double Action system, with safety visor lock, prevents the visor’s accidental opening.  X-1002 is fitted with the SMART LIFT system, which has two coupled locking levers with single-handed opening through the left lever.  The frontal air intake, which is controlled by a soft touch pressure key, directs the air inside the helmet through a network of channels to provide excellent climate control, and prevents localized cold spots.  The chin guard air intake works with the top vent, and is fitted with a special diffuser that directs the airflow throughout the helmet as well as onto the inside of the visor to prevent misting.  The X-1002 inner liner is totally removable and washable, and is made from high quality hardwearing fabrics, which have been long term tested for comfort and breathability.  It is Sanitized® treated to ensure superior hygiene and freshness, and to prevent unpleasant odours.  The exclusive VPS (Vision Protection System) is a simple and practical sunscreen that is positioned on the outside of the visor: just lower or lift to use or exclude. Useful in all sorts of situations, whether it's on long journeys out of town, or shorter trips about town. Its innovative rotating mechanism – synchronised with the opening of the visor and the lifting of the chin guard – ensures perfect functioning in all riding conditions.  The VPS is easy to remove when it is not needed, or for normal maintenance and cleaning operations.  Supplied with Pinlock anti fog inner visor and with Nolan's micro adjust, quick release chin strap.  Euro 2205 approved.

X801-RR Racing Replica

X-801RR, result of the X-lite experience and the precious advice offered by sponsored riders, is even more "Race Inspired". The X-801RR is a helmet that contains all the most appreciable characteristics of comfort and performance. It is characterised by a new built-in integral ventilation system developed after months and months of simulations, lab tests and continuous road and track testing with the active contribution of our official MotoGP riders who have already been using X-801RR starting from the 2006 season.  This ventilation system consists of: air intakes designed to increase incoming air capacity, EPS air ducts and a chin guard capable of ensuring optimum distribution of internal airflow. The sum total guarantees ultimate comfort.  X-801RR has 3 different measurements for its outer shell (SX/S, M/L, XL/XXL).
This way, the helmet’s weight and volume (and hence its aerodynamic resistance) are kept to a minimum, proportionate to the rider’s size.  The padding features a fabric called UNITHERM, made of the most up-to-date elasticised microfibre, which actively regulates breathability. UNITHERM is thermoregulatory: dry and warm when the temperature is low, cool when it is hot, thanks to rapid dispersal of body humidity. It dries faster than bare skin, and thanks to its efficient removal of humidity, it prevents the formation of body odour inside the helmet, caused by the proliferation of bacteria. It is easy to maintain, is washable and retains its properties for a long time. The new Airtech netting inserts, leather inserts and stamped logo complete the helmet, making it even more exquisitely crafted and of great value.  Comprehensive anatomical studies and extensive dynamic user testing have led to the creation of the removable cheek pads, featuring new STEADYFIT, in three different thicknesses. The result is an extraordinary level of comfort, combined with just the right amount of pressure on the cheeks so that the helmet remains steady, even at high speeds out on the track.  The STEADYFIT cheek pads are even more comfortable thanks to the Airtech netting inserts; they are also available as accessories in different thicknesses.  So, even the most demanding riders can have a made-to-measure helmet, like the MotoGP professionals!  The two independently activated front air intakes, tested on the track by official riders and adjustable in two positions, have been designed to increase the flow of air as well as making the helmet even quieter. Thanks to a special channel within the inner shell, the incoming air is directed straight inside the helmet, preventing irritating local infiltration of cold air. Two extractors on the rear of the helmet, equipped with an independent opening and closing system, make sure that warm and stale air is driven out, thus ensuring a constant change of air.  The front air intakes and rear air extractors are easy to operate even with gloves, thanks to the rubber inserts that provide an excellent grip.  The front of the X-801RR has been completely redesigned in order to further improve the effectiveness of the ventilation system.
With the air intake (adjustable in two positions) and the inner parts, incoming and outgoing air flow ensures that the visor does not fog up. The ALV system features:

X-701 is the full-face helmet with a composite fibre shell.  It is characterised by an innovative and striking design - particularly set off by a rear stabilising spoiler - that is a perfect blend of technology, functionality and comfort so as to meet the needs of the most demanding motorcyclists.  It is a result of X-lite technology research and has undergone numerous aerodynamic tests both in the laboratory and on the track.  X-701 is available in three different external shell sizes (XS/S, M/L, XL/XXL) to ensure levels of comfort otherwise hard to achieve.
